Verify us yourself in under a minute

You should never take a real estate company's word for its own licensing — including ours. Here is exactly how to confirm it.

  1. Open the state's official license searchGo to the Texas Real Estate Commission's License Holder Search. This is the state regulator's own database, not a directory site.
  2. Search license number 9006686Enter it in the "Name or License Number" field. You can also search the entity name, Chabot Strategies, LLC.
  3. Check the status and the disciplinary historyThe record shows our license status, expiration date, designated broker, sponsored agents, and every registered trade name. The same page has a "Disciplinary Actions" button so you can see our compliance record for yourself.

How our referral model works — and how we get paid

Conservative Move is a licensed real estate referral brokerage. We do not list your home or write your offer. We match you with a vetted local agent who is separately licensed in the state where you are buying or selling, and that agent represents you.

Our referral service comes at no additional cost to you. The agent we introduce pays us a referral fee only when your move succeeds, and represents you under their own separate agreement.

A few things that follow from that, stated plainly:

You are never invoiced by us. Our fee is paid by the receiving agent's brokerage out of the commission at closing. If your move never closes, no referral fee is ever earned.

Your agent works for you, not for us. Representation is established directly between you and that agent's brokerage under their own written agreement, governed by the license laws of your state.

You are free to choose. An introduction is not a commitment. You may interview the agent we suggest, ask for a different one, or bring your own agent on either side of the move.
